Arlene F. Sinclair, 95, of Bellefonte, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Centre Crest Nursing Home. Born in Snow Shoe, on March 14, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence F. and Maude M. (Lauck) Sinclair.
Arlene was a 1941 graduate of Snow Shoe High School. She went to work for Hall’s Hosery Mill in Snow Shoe before working for Murata Erie as a stamper.
Arlene is survived by five nephews, Bill Gillette (Monica), Dan Gillette (Susan), Dave Gillette (Judy), Larry Eminhizer (Chris), and Mark Eminhizer (Heidi), and one niece, Holly Modzel (Jason); and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by five siblings, Bea Gillette, Sara Eminhizer, Jean Sinclair, Larry Sinclair, and infant sister, Mary Lillian. Arlene was the last of her generation. Also proceeding her in death is one great nephew.
Arlene was a past member of the former Snow Shoe Presbyterian Church. She loved to crochet and go to the Grange Fair.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 10am-noon at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. at 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will follow at noon at the funeral home with Rev. Calvin Miller officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Askey Cemetery in Snow Shoe.
