Robert M. Kersavage, 72, of Bellefonte, passed away at Hackensack University Medical Center, July 7, 2017, with his family by his side, after a 2 ½ year battle with cancer. Born in Bellefonte, PA, he was the son of the late Michael P. Kersavage and Julianna J. (Hitzner) Kersavage.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Kellogg) Kersavage, of Bellefonte, and their two Shih Tzu’s, Chloe and Cayla; sons, Scott Kersavage (Tammy) of Valencia, CA and Brian Kersavage (Ed) of Marysville, PA and their lab Casey; and grandchildren, Reese and Matthew. Bob is also survived by his siblings, Roseanna Kersavage, Centre Crest; Charlotte Pilewski (Norbert) of Pittsburgh; Patricia Mauk (Adrian) of Milesburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob graduated from Bellefonte Area High School in 1963 and Penn State University in 1975 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Bob started working for Titan Metal Products in 1964 and retired from there in 2009.
Bob was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame. He had achieved a perfect score of 300 during his bowling career. He was the Seven Mountains Bowling Association secretary for many years. He also enjoyed tennis and spending time outdoors.
Friends will be received from 10am-12pm on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte. Funeral service will follow at 12pm with Deacon Tom Boldin officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
