Lillian Marie Boldin
May 15, 1935 – May 8, 2018
Lillian Marie Boldin, 82, of Bellefonte, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Born in Bellefonte on May 15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Grover Reed Walker and Sally (Butler) Weber. She was married to the love of her life, Evon T. Boldin, for 66 years, who survives her at home.
Lillian attended Bellefonte Area High School. She worked for C-cor for eight years soldering electronic boards. For most of her life, she farmed with her husband and took care of their home and family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Mary Jo Boldin (Sally) of Bellefonte, and Deacon Thomas Boldin (Shirley) of Bellefonte; sister-in-law, Mart of Lock Haven, brother-in-law, Marlin of Houserville; five grandchildren, Amy Brandt (Randy), Ben Boldin (Kara), Kelly Jo Smay (Doug), Neil Fletcher (Kristen), Sam Fletcher (Jenny), and 14 great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Emily, Abby, Sophia, Bradly, Hayley, Brandon, Hayden, Holden, Brianna, Reese, Sydney, Anna, and Luke.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Daniel Boldin on October 17, 1985, one grandson, Paul Thomas Boldin, one great-grandson, Timothy Smay, one brother, Joe Houser, and one sister, Betty Weaver.
There will be a public viewing held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 6-8pm with a wake service at 8pm at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. at 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Mass will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 134 E. Bishop Street, Bellefonte with Father George Jakopac officiating, assisted by Deacon Thomas Boldin. Burial will immediately follow at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Bellefonte.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Catholic School at 116 E. Bishop Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
